Our involvement in the hospitality industry was pioneered by our fully owned subsidiary, De Palma Hotels. Established in 1996, the group has a chain of five hotels, namely, De Palma Ampang, De Palma Inn Shah Alam, De Palma Inn Kuala Selangor and De Palma Inn Sepang. The group also runs two Palma Cafes, at the SACC Mall in Shah Alam and PKNS Complex in Bangi, apart from the De Palma Seminar & Conference Centre in Petaling Jaya. The De Palma Hotels are unique in their successful transformation from a group of conventional hotels to a shariah compliant organisation. Pusat Konvensyen Shah Alam
Launched in 2009, the Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC Convec) forms part of PKNS’ efforts to position Selangor as a hub for the local and international MICE industry. Boasting a built- up area of 19,385 sq m, it features top-notch facilities and amenities, including two pillarless ballrooms that can accommodate up to 3,000 people at any one time, eight seminar rooms and a plenary hall. From the pre-event room layout that is open and contemporary to the expansive exhibition, meeting and banquet spaces, the SACC lends a modern feel to any convention, exhibition, meeting, social event and closed function organised. Kelab Golf Seri Selangor (KGSS)
Seri Selangor Golf Club has become the venue for golfers of all levels and often been grace by royalties and dignitaries. Encouraged by the good response and recognizing and sun sensitive golfers, night golfing was introduced in April 2001. Currently enjoying close to 6000 rounds a month or 200 a day, it has become the busiest golf course in the Klang Valley.
As the first public golf course in the country, the Seri Selangor Golf Club has paved the way for all levels of society to experience playing a royal and classic sport. In fact, its official opening in 1998 marked a new era in the sport of golf in the country. Designed by Ross Watson and measuring 6,374 metres the par 72, course is also one of his most outstanding designs. It has bunkers which players would try hard to avoid.
